For a reasonably low price, the auger is a great help. I used the auger with a 14 volt drill. It was sluggish a few times but for the most part worked well. I planted 25 tulip bulbs.Got to create a lot of holes in my compacted clay soil without much expense and labor. Borrowed my neighbor's tiller which was both slower and would not penetrate the soil.Exactly as described. It is strong and it works, so be careful when using in the yard because it will definitely kick if you hit something. However, I haven't been able to break it even though I have been pushing it pretty hard.I love this tool…just wish it was new when I got it. It already had dirt all over it when I got it out of the packaging. That was disappointing but I still liked the product.I purchased this to plant bulbs this spring. It worked so well, I got one for my son in law. It even works to just loosen soil. Excellent value, for the money!Awesome experience!
