I needed to make 104 holes in 3/8” thick A36 steel, so I ordered these drill bits because I thought it would take quite a few to do this.I was mistaken! I used only one drill bit for all 104 holes. Yes, I had to “freshen it up” after each 26 holes on my bench grinder, but this one bit drilled well and easily with a true hole size for all 104 holes. That surprised me, to say the least.I now have 7 good 7/16” drills to use for other projects.
