I needed to install some grab bars in a bath area lined with subway tiles.It's important to keep the bits cool, so the tile doesn't crack. These just require a dip into a glass of water periodically while drilling. The results is a nice round, cleanly drilled hole. On the other side of the tile is cement backer board, then some wood studs and blocking, and once in a while a screw or nail. These cut it all, quick, fast, and clean.These are made in Austria and have extra quality in their build over other bits I have that were made overseas.They have really nicely ground sharp cutting edges, and the spiral design quickly removes the cuttings from the holes.The plastic case is actually a good way to store the bits. All the sizes I need are included in the 5-piece set.An excellent value for a long-lasting and sharp multipurpose drill bit set, that also can drill ceramic tiles.Highly recommended for any DIY homeowner.
